Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join a growing advanced manufacturing company supporting the production of critical materials and components used across robotics, aerospace, defense, transportation, and energy applications. This role will play an important part in supporting daily manufacturing operations by safely moving materials, operating equipment, maintaining accurate inventory flow, and helping ensure production runs efficiently.
This position offers the opportunity to be part of a new advanced manufacturing facility, work alongside skilled production teams, and contribute to the growth of a company helping shape the future of American manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment, following safety procedures, and supporting multiple areas of production.
Responsibilities
- Move materials, products, and supplies throughout the production facility
- Read and follow work orders, transfer orders, and production instructions
- Perform system and physical movement of materials while maintaining accurate inventory flow
- Operate forklifts, lift trucks, cranes, and other material handling equipment
- Support shipping, receiving, and movement of finished goods/materials
- Operate production equipment following established procedures and safety guidelines
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Support production teams with daily operational needs
- Cross-train across different areas and assist where needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
