Position Summary
The Law Enforcement (LE) Clerk provides administrative and operational support within the LE Department under the direction of the LE Administrative Manager and the LE Manager. This position assists with customer service, order processing, inventory coordination, data entry, and daily departmental operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the LE Department.
- Vendor management.
- Receive and enter firearms into the logbook per ATF guidelines.
- Assist agencies and Law Enforcement department personnel professionally and courteously.
- Process paperwork, purchase orders, invoices, and departmental documentation.
- Maintain organized records, files, and databases.
- Receive and process incoming firearms and related merchandise.
- Perform firearm inventory management and accurate firearm data entry.
- Monitor and respond to company email daily.
- Assist with inventory counts, stocking, and merchandise organization.
- Coordinate with other departments to support workflow and customer needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the LE Department.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Prior clerical, administrative, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
· Basic computer, communication, and organizational skills required.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
· Ability to work in both office and retail environments.
