Stock Person
Pride Health is hiring a Stock Person for one of its clients in New York.
This is a 3-month contract with a possible extension, with competitive pay and benefits.
Job Title: Stock Person
Pay range: $20 - $22 an Hour on a W2
Location: New York, NY 10065
Duration: 3 months of contract (Possibility of an extension)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8 am – 4 pm
Work Type: Onsite
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Stock Person to support inventory, receiving, shipping, and material handling operations in a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely delivery of supplies, maintain accurate inventory records, operate warehouse equipment safely, and provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
Job Duties
· Receive, inspect, stock, and distribute supplies and materials.
· Pick and deliver orders to designated departments.
· Verify shipments and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
· Rotate inventory and monitor product expiration dates.
· Operate hydraulic lifts, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
· Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records using computer systems and handheld devices.
· Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas.
· Support departmental returns and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Ability to lift to 50 lbs and push/pull carts.
· Basic computer, reading, writing, and communication skills.
· Must be able to wear safety-toe boots.
· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety.
· Previous warehouse, stockroom, or inventory experience preferred.
