Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of production equipment, utilities, and facility systems. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, supporting preventive maintenance initiatives, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment, and a proactive approach to equipment reliability and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, replace, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.
- Service and maintain equipment including:
- Air compressors
- Air dryers
- Dehumidifiers
- Cooling towers
- CNC machines
- Injection molding equipment
- Industrial presses
- Oil heating systems
- Interpret operational instructions, equipment documentation, and technical drawings.
- Utilize the eMaint CMMS system to complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
- Record equipment downtime, labor hours, and parts consumption accurately.
- Support facility maintenance projects and infrastructure improvements as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and utilize required PPE.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Support production needs during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events.
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Associate Degree in a technical or maintenance-related field preferred.
Technical Skills
- Electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480V.
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems.
- Strong understanding of pneumatic systems.
- Experience using CMMS software, preferably eMaint.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial mechanical equipment and facility systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machinery maintenance.
- Experience supporting injection molding equipment.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Experience with Watlow controllers and SpecView software.
- Aerospace or precision manufacturing industry experience.
