Forklift Mechanic / Warehouse Equipment Mechanic

Position Summary:

Join a growing equipment service team that keeps Houston’s warehouses and operations moving. We’re looking for a hands-on Shop Service Technician who knows their way around forklifts or similar industrial equipment and takes pride in diagnosing, repairing, and getting machines back to work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Accurately document service work and parts usage
• Work closely with the service team to prioritize and complete jobs efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing forklifts, heavy equipment, or comparable industrial machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and engines
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and independently diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team environment
• Must provide and maintain a personal set of tools required for the position
• Valid driver’s license
