Senior Accountant

CPA firm in Long Island seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
• 4+ years experience working for a Public/CPA firm
• Experience with Quickbooks--Desktop and Online
• Proficiency in CCH ProSystem FX Tax
• Familiarity with CCH Pro System Engagement
• FULLY IN OFFICE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing and maintaining a full set of books and records for clients (write-up work), including:

Bookkeeping - Recording the client's day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and related journal entries.

• Reconciliation of Bank Statements
• Financial Statement Preparation
• Tax Preparation of Individual, Partnership, and Corporate tax returns
