Linen Laundry & Kitchen Sanitation Attendant

Crest Event Rentals is seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy individual to join our warehouse production team. This critical dual role ensures that our event rental inventory is meticulously cleaned, sanitized, and event-ready for Central Coast weddings, caterers, and special events. You will be responsible for processing returned event linens (tablecloths, napkins, sashes) and running our commercial dishwashing sanitation station for rented dinnerware, flatware, and catering equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Linen Processing & Quality Control

• Inspect & Sort: Examine returned linens for heavy stains, burns, or damage before sorting by fabric type and color.
• Wash & Treat: Operate commercial laundry equipment, applying specialized stain treatments to protect our premium linen inventory.
• Press & Fold: Use industrial ironers and steamers to ensure linens are perfectly pressed, crisp, and free of wrinkles.
• Package: Bundle and hang finished linens in predetermined packages or protective bags so they are clean, counted, and ready for transport.

Dinnerware & Catering Equipment Sanitation

• Wash & Sanitize: Operate industrial dishwashing machinery to clean rented plates, glassware, silverware, and catering equipment returned from events.
• Detailed Hand-Washing: Hand-wash delicate or oversized rental items, including specialty chargers, large chafing dishes, and beverage dispensers.
• Inventory Bundling: Ensure accurate counts of all clean items, restocking them safely into designated event crates, racks, and storage bundles.
• Station Maintenance: Clean and maintain the dishwashing machinery, empty filters, and keep the warehouse wash department spotless and safe.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift heavy laundry bundles or dish racks weighing up to 50–75 lbs.
• Attention to Detail: Unwavering eye for catching leftover food particles, water spots, or fabric stains to maintain our 5-star quality standards.
• Positive Attitude: A team-oriented mindset with an eagerness to learn our inventory systems; no experience required, we will train you!
• Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment, especially during peak wedding and event seasons.
