Job Description
Job Opening: Order Picker
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Simi Valley, CA 93065.
The ideal candidate must have warehouse experience and must be able to safely operate a cherry picker/order picker machine. This role will be responsible for picking customer orders accurately, moving products within the warehouse, and supporting daily warehouse operations.
Position: Order Picker
Location: Simi Valley, CA 93065
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Main Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate a cherry picker/order picker safely
- Pull, stage, and prepare products for shipment
- Assist with palletizing and loading orders as needed
- Distinguish and handle FedEx and UPS shipping labels properly
- Follow warehouse safety procedures at all times
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Help with inventory movement and product putaway when needed
- Report any damaged items, inventory issues, or safety concerns to management
Requirements:
- Must have experience operating a cherry picker/order picker
- Previous warehouse experience required
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse products safely
- Must be dependable and have good attendance
- Must be able to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail required
Preferred Experience:
- Experience picking Amazon 1P orders
- Ability to distinguish between FedEx and UPS labels
- Forklift or other warehouse equipment experience
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
Preferred Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in warehouse order picking. The candidate must be comfortable operating a cherry picker and working in a warehouse environment. Previous experience handling Amazon 1P orders and shipping labels is a strong plus.
