Mail Production/General Warehouse

We are seeking a dedicated Mail Production/Sorter to join our dynamic logistics team. This role involves organizing, sorting, and processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages to ensure efficient distribution within our facility. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting shipping and receiving functions, and ensuring timely delivery of mail items. This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail and organizational skills are highly valued, contributing directly to the overall efficiency of our distribution processes.

• 1st shift: 7AM-3:30PM Monday to Friday @ $16.00/hr
• 2nd shift: 2PM-10PM Monday to Friday @ $16.50
• 2ND SHIFT ASSOCIATTES ARE REQUIRED TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT FOR 2-3 WEEKS BEFORE MOVING TO 2ND
• 3rd shift: 10:00PM-6:30AM Monday to Friday @ $17.00-$20.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments accurately according to established procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and Pallet Jacks to transport items safely within the facility.
• Load and unload heavy packages using proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and prevent damage.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by ensuring timely movement of goods throughout the facility.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate sorting, labeling, and routing of all mail items.
• Follow safety protocols during material handling activities to promote a secure working environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and Pallet Jacks is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Must be able to work 8-12 hours per day
• Must be able to stand for duration of shift
