CNC Milling Machinist

Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a CNC Mill Machinist and a CNC Lathe Machinist in Houston, TX 77099.

Job Description:

• Will be performing setup on new and proven jobs, optimizing programs, and running CNC mills and lathes
• Designs and creates fixtures needed for second ops and assembly
• Organizes CNC programs, sets up sketches, fixtures, and tool sheets
• Must ensure tooling needed for upcoming jobs is in order
• Maintains all equipment per procedures
• Performs in-process and can do first article inspections on machined parts to ensure products meet specifications
• Accurately fills out required production records
• Ensure high-quality products are produced on schedule
• Will be assisting in creating and updating process and product documentation
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
• Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, and procedures
• Fills out time sheets and all other required paperwork accurately and on time

Job Requirements:

• Must have 4 years of related experience, preferably related medical device experience
• Performs mechanical assembly, inspection, and testing
• Must know how to use measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges
• Must have experience in deburring and the use of sanding belts and polishing wheels
• Must have great communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Looking for one CNC Lathe Machinist for the night shift

Schedule:

Monday- Friday (Some Saturdays)

2nd shift - 2:30 PM- 1:00 AM

Pay:

$28.00/ hr We pay weekly.
