Surgical First Assistant (CSA) – Level I Trauma Center.
Required Experience- Surgical First Assistant experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Experience assisting surgeons during complex surgical procedures
- Advanced knowledge of surgical instrumentation, anatomy, and operative techniques
- Expertise in sterile technique and maintaining a sterile field
- Experience with tissue handling, exposure, hemostasis, wound closure, and suturing
- Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and support efficient procedural flow
- Experience working in high-acuity and emergency surgical environments.
- Associate Degree in Surgical Technology
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
- Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) through NCCSA (Required)
- (BLS).
