Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) in the Washington area. This role involves providing therapy services across acute inpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, and long-term care settings. The position requires flexibility to serve various patient populations, from infants to geriatrics, with a focus on delivering quality care in diverse clinical environments.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of experience; licensure to submit; location in Washington; outpatient and inpatient therapy experience preferred; open to recent graduates.

- Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Be flexible and able to serve diverse patient populations. The therapist cannot refuse to see pediatric or specific diagnoses. Preference for travelers with inpatient and outpatient experience.
- Additional Information: Role includes working in acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled nursing, outpatient, and long-term care areas, often assigned to a specific area with potential to float. Outpatient shifts may start at 7:30 am. The facility has a staff of 10 therapists available as resources. The community is close to the Canadian border, with numerous outdoor activities, lakes, small-town living, and a significant Spanish-speaking population of approximately 30%.
- Restrictions: No holiday or weekend work required.
- Dress Code: Professional attire (typically khaki) or scrubs.
- Orientation: 1-2 shifts with a preceptor.
- Travel Friendly: Yes, includes staff activities and gatherings.
- Other Notes: Managed by a team including PT, OT, clerks, and managers; experience with TruBridge - Evident electronic charting system is preferred.
