Building Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in building maintenance and facility management, is seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting the upkeep and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and maintenance tasks, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Location: Clinton Township, NJ

Pay Range: $28.50-30.50

Shift:M-F, 7am-3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Maintain compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare compliance standards.
• Participate actively in site safety programs and ensure adherence to all safety procedures.
• Assist in repair and maintenance of building equipment, including minor plumbing repairs and general building upkeep.
• Use computerized maintenance management systems to document work orders, track repairs, and maintain accurate records.
• Perform inspections, report on conditions, and ensure the safety and cleanliness of work areas.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in building repair and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools safely and effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various physical positions.
