Psychologist

Job Description:
The Psychologist supports the Medical Director in the implementation of standard operation policies and procedures to ensure that the organization complies with all New York City's HRA contractual requirements.

A Psychological Assessment will be performed when a client disagrees with the Functional Capacity Outcome determination or when the Functional Capacity Outcome cannot be determined following the Clinical Assessment and possible mental health barriers to employment are present.

Act as a clinical support for the organization staff in the fulfillment of funder, (NYC HRA), contracted goals.

Job Requirements:

• PhD or PsyD (Doctorate degree from an accredited psychology program)
• Licensed Psychologist in the state of New York with active registration.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience with knowledge of medical and or behavioral Health diagnoses required.
• Able to assist and motivate clients to comply with assessment and reassessment appointments. Able to assist clients to access services to reduce barriers to compliance with appointments.
• Knowledge and ability to use of various software systems including SEAMS, EPIC, etc., in order to document outreach, services, and activities in the client electronic recording.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Possess strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Salary Range: 110-135k
