Class A Driver – Equipment Transport for Quinn CAT

• Pay: $25–$30 per hour
• Location: Sylmar Rental Branch

What You'll Do

• Safely transport equipment to and from customer locations and company facilities
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with all DOT and DMV regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and vehicle safety
• Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment using proper procedures
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handling equipment
• Provide basic equipment operation demonstrations to customers when needed
• Complete delivery paperwork, driver logs, permits, and transportation records accurately
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs when appropriate
• Plan efficient routes and maintain delivery schedules
• Participate in the DOT drug and alcohol testing program

What We're Looking For

• Valid California Class A Driver's License
• Current DMV Medical Certificate
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of driving experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Forklift certification is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and equipment operation
• Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, balancing, and crawling
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

This position regularly works around heavy equipment, moving mechanical parts, and outdoor environments. Noise levels can be high, and safety awareness is essential at all times.
