Carpenter Apprentice

*Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter apprentice to support our carpentry team in various construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have a strong work ethic, and possess basic knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques. This role involves assisting skilled carpenters in the completion of projects, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood and other materials.
- Help with the installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, frames, cabinets, flooring, decking, and siding
- Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing tools and materials.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from lead carpenters.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, reporting any issues or damages.
- Participate in training opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in carpentry.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in construction or carpentry preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools related to carpentry.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Good physical stamina and strength, able to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
