Micro Auto Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join our team! Micro Auto Group is both a manufacturer and distributor of paint and automotive parts with multiple companies and locations.

Our Accounts Payable Specialist position plays a vital role in managing the company’s payments and maintaining positive vendor relationships through an open line of communication.

Responsibilities

·         The AP position will provide financial and clerical services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices

·         Maintain database with vendor information

·         Research and respond/resolve to vendor accounts payable inquiries in a timely manner

·         Resolve discrepancies in billing or payments

·         Schedule and process ACH and check requests through weekly check runs

·         Provide administrative support for the accounting department as needed

Qualifications

·         Must have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment

·         Proficiency with database software and MS Office suite, especially in MS Excel

·         Ability to multitask

·         Willingness to learn

·         Proven ability to overcome obstacles, get results, and work independently

·         Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented skills

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         This position requires the employee to be physically present at the company’s main office location in Highland Park, with no remote or hybrid work options
