Job Summary
Seeking an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to perform routine and complex diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and adherence to radiation protection standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and CT examinations according to physician orders.
- Position patients and select appropriate technical factors for imaging procedures.
- Ensure image quality through proper positioning, exposure techniques, and equipment operation.
- Follow radiation safety and protection protocols.
- Perform quality control procedures and maintain imaging equipment.
- Utilize PACS and other radiology information systems for image management and documentation.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of examinations performed and technical factors used.
- Assist with department workflow, inventory, and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of CT experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of applicable experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques, anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety practices.
- Experience working with PACS and digital imaging systems preferred.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current ARRT certification required.
- Must maintain ARRT credentials and continuing education requirements throughout employment.
