We're seeking a skilled CT Technologist for an exciting travel opportunity with Saint Francis Health System in Muskogee, Oklahoma. This position offers competitive compensation, a consistent three-day workweek schedule, and the opportunity to work with a respected healthcare organization.
Position Details
- Position: Travel CT Technologist
- Location: Muskogee, Oklahoma
- Facility: Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for extension)
- Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Shift: Days | 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Job Summary
As a CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality computed tomography examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional imaging standards. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging that supports patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT scans according to departmental protocols and physician orders
- Prepare, screen, and position patients for CT procedures
- Administer contrast media as directed by the radiologist
- Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Perform advanced image processing, including:
- 3D Rendering
- Image Reconstruction
- Reformation Techniques
- Transfer and verify images in PACS
- Maintain accurate documentation and exam records
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
- Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout procedures
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Maintain imaging equipment and a clean, organized work environment
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (R) Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Minimum 1–2 years of CT and X-Ray experience
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens CT scanners
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Experience with McKesson EMR
