As a Security Officer Patrol Response in East Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized entry and exit activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate with employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers in a professional manner while helping to address questions, direct traffic flow, and report maintenance or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
