Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our growing team. This leadership role is ideal for a tax professional who excels in client service, technical expertise, and team development. You will oversee complex tax engagements, mentor staff, and play a key role in shaping client strategy and firm growth.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
-Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services
-Research and resolve advanced tax issues and ensure compliance with current regulations
-Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers
-Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, and billing
-Identify opportunities for process improvements and firm growth
-Stay current on tax law changes and industry trends
Qualifications
-CPA license required
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred)
-8+ years of public accounting tax experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
-Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
-Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
-Excellent communication and client relationship skills
-Experience with tax software and workflow systems
