You’ll enjoy a consistent weekly schedule throughout the academic year, beginning August 10th and ending May 14th, working just one day per week for six hours. With a caseload of only three students, you’ll be able to provide personalized support while also handling periodic evaluations and Medicaid reimbursement documentation. The school welcomes your expertise in both direct therapy and assessment.
Qualifications:
- Current Virginia Physical Therapist License (required)
- Experience within school-based or pediatric clinical settings is highly desirable
- Strong ability to collaborate with educational staff and families
- Proficiency in completing evaluations and accompanying paperwork, including Medicaid reimbursement
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized therapeutic services for elementary students as indicated on their IEPs
