Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Candidates are selected following a client interview, with specific assignments determined closer to the start of the school year.
To qualify, applicants must provide:
- An active Texas SLP or SLPA license (screenshot required at submission). SLPAs must have current licensure; supervision hours to obtain the license are not available for this role.
- Demonstrated school-based SLP or SLPA experience.
- Ability to work on-site for the duration of the contract.
- Strong professional references and documentation.
- Willingness and ability to complete HISD fingerprinting within three days of signing a contract.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Delivering school-based speech-language services and interventions in accordance with students’ IEPs.
- Collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal student outcomes.
- Documenting progress, maintaining records, and participating in IEP meetings.
- Communicating effectively with students, staff, and families.
Please note: Only SLP-CCC and SLPA candidates are eligible. SLP-CFs are not accepted. Reliable transportation is required, and all candidates must be available on-site from 7/30/26 to 5/28/27.
