Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ emotional and academic growth in a contract School Psychologist role near the scenic Anacortes, WA area. This position offers a unique part-time schedule—just 8 hours per week (.2 FTE)—with services needed onsite, allowing you to balance professional fulfillment with personal commitments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state and national credentials preferred)
  • Previous experience providing psychological services in educational settings
  • Expertise in assessment, intervention, and counseling for students across K–12
  • Stellar communication skills to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Strong organizational abilities and ethical judgment
  • Adaptability to address diverse student needs within a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data to inform educational planning
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling to students as needed
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to recommend strategies that optimize learning and well-being
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and adhere to compliance standards for special education services
  • Contribute to initiatives that foster a supportive school climate and positive student outcomes
