Relay Assembler - 218209

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity in Hawthorne, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• 1–2 years of assembly experience
• Good eye-hand coordination and ability to use small hand tools.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of math
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow procedures for solid-state relay assembly and testing.
• Maintain labor logs and prepare reports
• Perform manual and automatic relay testing
• Use equipment for various applications and assist with moderately complex assignments.
• Read and interpret specifications and drawings accurately.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Technical training or certification.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

WORK HOURS:

• Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
