Operating Room Technician | Effingham, South Carolina

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Assist surgeons and nurses during a variety of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment
• Handle specimens, ensure accurate counts, and follow infection control guidelines at all times
• Properly care for and operate specialized surgical equipment
• Maintain clear documentation and comply with facility policies and regulations
• Support and collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
