Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification required (must submit with resume to be considered)
- Experience teaching students with diverse special needs, across varying age groups
- Ability to step into new classroom environments and quickly build rapport with students and staff
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing needs and schedules
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and support to students with special needs, following existing lesson plans or adapting as necessary
- Manage daily classroom activities, student safety, and individual education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with instructional staff, paraprofessionals, and administrators as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of student progress during coverage
- Support a positive, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment
