Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Blue Grass, Iowa

A healthcare organization is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide pharmacy support and management for an FQHC/340B pharmacy setting in Brunswick, GA, with coverage dates spanning from June 22 through June 29. This assignment involves working within a GapRx managed pharmacy, where you will play a key role in delivering quality pharmacy services while supervising pharmacy technicians.

Location: Brunswick, GA

Schedule:

• Monday, 6/22: 8 AM – 6 PM
• Wednesday, 6/24: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Thursday, 6/25: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Friday, 6/26: 8 AM – 3 PM
• Monday, 6/29: 8 AM – 6 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive retail/community pharmacy services.
• Open and close the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations.
• Utilize Datascan by WinPharm pharmacy system to maintain accurate records.
• Manage 340B pharmacy program operations (prior experience preferred but not required).

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in GA.
• Experience in retail/community pharmacy environments.
• Proven ability to supervise pharmacy staff effectively.
• Knowledge or familiarity with the 340B program is highly preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Per Diem Contract Details:

• Contract to be signed upon provision of coverage.
• Travel reimbursement provided for distances over 30 miles.
• Meal stipend and hotel accommodations available for assignments more than 90 miles from your residence.
• Strong pharmacy technician support on site.
