Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience with PK-5th grade students preferred
  • Background working with moderate behavior needs
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies in either self-contained or push-in environments
  • Collaborative approach with educators, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
  • Employ evidence-based interventions focusing on moderate behavior management
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation
  • Document progress and communicate effectively with families and team members
  • Partner with general education teachers to support student success in push-in settings
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to special education
