School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Grover Beach, California

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Experience a rewarding summer role supporting students as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a dynamic school environment near Grover Beach, CA. This contract opportunity spans from June 15, 2026, to July 8, 2026, with observance of Juneteenth and July 3rd as non-working days. Working onsite in a supportive educational setting, you will play a key role in aiding student health and participating in engaging field trips.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California LVN license required
• Background in a school setting or pediatric care preferred
• Experience with catheter care is essential
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt and assist in various situations, including field trips and filling in for colleagues as needed
• Female candidates are preferred for this placement

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students’ healthcare needs throughout the day, including medical procedures and monitoring while onsite
• Provide assistance with catheterization and related healthcare interventions
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure student safety and well-being during onsite activities and off-site field trips
• Serve as part of an LVN pool, stepping in for staff absences or urgent situations to maintain consistent health coverage
• Maintain accurate health records and communication with staff and administration
