Litigation Attorney Opportunity (Medical Malpractice / Insurance Defense)
Location: Seattle, WA or Spokane, WA (Hybrid)
Robert Half is partnering with a highly respected and established Pacific Northwest law firm to identify an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its growing healthcare and defense practice. Overview of the Role
The firm is seeking a motivated attorney with 3–7 years of litigation experience, with a background in medical malpractice, personal injury, or insurance defense. This role offers significant responsibility, direct client contact, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to case strategy and trial work.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent healthcare providers, hospitals, long-term care facilities, product manufacturers, and medical institutions in complex litigation matters
- Conduct legal and medical research; draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Analyze medical records, manage discovery, and conduct depositions
- Support trial preparation and participate in trial proceedings
- Collaborate on case strategy, evaluation, and overall case management
Compensation & Benefits
The firm offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary in the range of $135,000 – $165,000, depending on experience and location, along with bonus potential tied to billable hours.

- J.D. from an accredited law school and active license in Washington State
- 3+ years of litigation experience, with experience on medical malpractice, personal injury, or insurance defense cases
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
- Experience taking depositions and participating in hearings or trial preparation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
