Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist (IS) License required
  • Demonstrated experience or training in K-8 special education settings
  • Strong ability to modify curriculum and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate and dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction to students with varying learning needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to ensure student growth
  • Facilitate inclusion and positive behavior supports within the classroom
  • Maintain consistent and meaningful communication with families, staff, and administration
  • Track progress and provide timely feedback and documentation
