Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological evaluations and counseling in K-12 schools
- Ability to collaborate effectively on multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and special education procedures
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and building positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and behavioral observations
- Offer consultations and recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students receiving special education services
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student well-being
- Maintain detailed records and participate in eligibility meetings, re-evaluations, and related processes
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
