Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience providing psychological evaluations and counseling in K-12 schools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively on multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with IEPs and special education procedures
  • Commitment to culturally responsive practices and building positive relationships with students, families, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and behavioral observations
  • Offer consultations and recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students receiving special education services
  • Provide individual and group counseling as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student well-being
  • Maintain detailed records and participate in eligibility meetings, re-evaluations, and related processes
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
