Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding summer assignment supporting students in a dynamic school environment near Nipomo, CA. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience working with a diverse caseload, making a meaningful impact during the summer session. You’ll work closely with students and staff, ensuring a safe and healthy environment both on campus and during field trips.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active California LVN license required
• Previous experience with catheterization and specialized student care preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and support various assignments—including participation in an LVN Pool for staff coverage or urgent requirements
• Commitment to working onsite throughout the assignment
• Empathy, professionalism, and reliable communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to students with varying health requirements, including catheter support
• Collaborate with school staff to offer medical support during daily activities and field trips
• Maintain accurate health records and administer medications as prescribed
• Participate as needed in an LVN coverage pool, assisting other school locations in case of staff absences or urgent medical needs
• Uphold safety and confidentiality standards in all interactions
