Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active state license as a Physical Therapist
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Understanding of pediatric PT and IEP-driven therapy
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students in line with educational goals
  • Deliver direct PT services according to IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Educate and guide school staff and families on mobility and adaptive strategies
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy services
