Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Contract positions are open for dedicated professionals passionate about working with K-12 students during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. This role offers a focused schedule, ideal for those seeking summer contract work. The program runs from June 29 to August 6, with working hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Three positions are available, giving you the chance to be part of a supportive professional community.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Experience or interest in school-based physical therapy (K-12 caseload)
- Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassion, creativity, and a commitment to student well-being
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions tailored to students’ educational needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s goals
- Document sessions, progress, and recommendations following school and state guidelines
- Contribute positively to the ESY team atmosphere and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
