Medical Device Assembly Associate
Pay Rate: $18.20/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Work Type: Onsite
Job Overview
Seeking reliable and detail-oriented candidates for an entry-level medical device manufacturing and assembly role. This position supports the fabrication, assembly, testing, inspection, and packaging of medical devices in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must be comfortable working with tools, following SOPs, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, fabricate, test, and package medical devices according to specifications
- Operate, set up, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment
- Conduct quality inspections on production lines to ensure compliance with standards
- Follow SOPs, quality guidelines, and safety procedures
- Read and interpret written instructions and specifications
- Rotate between production tasks and responsibilities as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Report production or equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0–1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
- Reliable transportation required
- Stable work history preferred (1–2 years with previous employers)
- Must be open to overtime and flexible scheduling as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
Preferred Skills
- Medical device or manufacturing assembly experience
- Experience using measuring tools or microscopes
- Equipment troubleshooting experience
- Quality inspection experience
- Production line or packaging experience
