We are looking for a tax specialist to join a Financial Services team, supporting a broad client portfolio across multiple industries. This position offers the opportunity to manage tax and accounting work from preparation through client guidance, while contributing to a collaborative environment focused on quality service and career growth. The role is well suited for someone who enjoys balancing technical tax work with direct client interaction and advisory support.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and examine a range of tax filings, including returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, fiduciaries, and nonprofit organizations.
• Coordinate tax and accounting engagements from initial planning through final delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Perform tax research and translate findings into practical recommendations that support client planning and reporting needs.
• Provide bookkeeping assistance and help produce financial statements that align with client records and reporting standards.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients by answering questions, addressing tax matters, and fostering strong working relationships.
• Manage multiple assignments at once while maintaining organized documentation and clear communication with internal team members.
• Support consulting projects related to corporate tax matters, compliance obligations, and ongoing accounting needs.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent credential is preferred.
• At least 3 years of recent experience in public accounting with a focus on tax is preferred.
• Working knowledge of tax law and the ability to conduct reliable tax research are required.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Lacerte or Intuit tax software is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues are required.
• Proven ability to handle competing deadlines, stay organized, and maintain high-quality work across multiple engagements is required.
