Medical Sonographer II

Working Hours: 9a-5:30p

Summary:
The Medical Sonographer provides a variety of sonographic images per approved protocols, maintains quality images and documentation, and responds to patient safety, mental and physical comfort.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and/or graduate of an accredited School of Sonography
2. Have and maintain at least two current certifications with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required. Specialty certifications include: Vascular Technology (VT), Abdomen (AB), Breast (BR), Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN), and Pediatric Sonography (PS)
3. Must have and maintain current CPR (American Heart Association-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
4. One year of clinical experience, annually demonstrates competency in 11 of the 29 ultrasound procedures. Employee's proof of competency will be approved by the Medical Director of Ultrasound.
5. Meets the requirements for the Imaging Technologist Advancement Program.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
