Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and an active Oregon RN license.
Details
- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a 38-bed acute care hospital
- Patient care includes labor, postpartum, antepartum, cesarean section, post-op, and newborn care
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend work required
- Some holiday coverage required
- Floating within the unit and across the health system is required — refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
- Charting is performed in Epic
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space
- 13-week minimum contract length
Requirements
- Active Oregon (OR) RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of Oregon license application and fingerprints
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, Advanced NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, or Relias Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- COVID vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided for L&D; all other units require any solid color
- All assigned education must be completed within the first week of the assignment
- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy Health facility — local candidates are not accepted
- Approved PTO must be finalized prior to consideration; no PTO in the first week of the assignment, and no more than 7 days of PTO per assignment
