Our client, an industry leader in door manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist to join their team. As an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly line operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist

Location: Pittsburg, KS

Pay Range: $17 days and 18 nights

Shift: Day and Evenings   10 hour shifts with OT as required

What's the Job?

  • Verify materials being used by reading the bill of materials to ensure accuracy Lifting up to 50lbs consistently  
  • Ensure materials meet quality expectations and standards
  • Label units as needed for proper identification
  • Assemble fabricated parts into larger subassemblies and complete units, including complex door assemblies
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications

What's Needed?

  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic math skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with manual machines and pneumatic equipment such as Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router, Tape Measure, Square
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75+ lbs and perform repetitive motions including bending, stooping, and standing for long periods
  • ability to work in a hot environment due to elements
