Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Previous Med-Surg and/or Step-Down experience preferred
• Strong assessment, telemetry, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care across Med-Surg and Step-Down units
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Care for patients with varying levels of acuity and complex medical conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments as ordered
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
• Document care and patient status in the EMR
