Role Summary

Seeking a seasoned litigation attorney to independently manage a full caseload from inception through trial. The ideal candidate brings strong courtroom experience, strategic thinking, and a client-focused approach to complex insurance defense matters.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid schedule with approximately 2 days in-office
• Remote flexibility available for the right candidate
• Based in Northeast Florida

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from filing through resolution and trial
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Develop case strategies through legal research and analysis
• Advise clients and assist with negotiations and settlements
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure effective case management
• Maintain organized and accurate case files
• Meet billable hour expectations

Requirements

• Active Florida Bar license
• 5+ years of recent insurance defense litigation experience
• Experience handling UMBI (Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury) matters
• Strong litigation background with the ability to independently manage cases from inception through trial
• Experience conducting depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
