LPN – Long Term Care
Location: Falmouth, Massachusetts
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Compensation:
- Travel Rate: $48–$51/hour ($1,920–$2,040/week) based on experience
- Local Rate: $40–$45/hour ($1,600–$1,800/week) based on experience
Schedule:
- 40 Hours per Week
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Every Other Weekend Required
- Rotating Holidays
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a Long-Term Care team dedicated to providing exceptional resident-centered care. The LPN will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care, supervising nursing assistants, administering medications and treatments, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and facility standards.
Requirements- Current, active, unencumbered Massachusetts LPN License
- Graduate of an approved LPN program
- BLS/CPR/AED Certification required
- Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
- Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical requirements of the position
- Medication Administration

- Tube Feedings
- Suctioning Procedures
- Ostomy Care
- Blood Pressure and Vital Signs Monitoring
- Specimen Collection
- Resident Assessments
- Care Plan Implementation
- Clinical Documentation
- Infection Prevention and Control
- Supervisory Experience with CNAs
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Supervise and direct nursing assistants during assigned shifts
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Complete admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to physicians and nursing leadership
- Assist with care planning and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate residents and family members regarding care and treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
- Participate in surveys, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives
