Shift: 19:00 - 07:30, 3 Days/12 Hours, 36 Hours per week

Note: Non-local candidates only. Candidate must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

We are seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist for a night shift contract position in an acute care hospital. The RT will assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions across multiple care units and respond to emergencies throughout the facility. Night shift availability and non-local status required.

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
• Manage mechanical ventilation and weaning protocols for ICU patients
• Perform bronchodilator therapy, airway management, and PAP device setups
• Conduct ABG analysis and pulmonary function assessments
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and code blue situations
• Document all patient care activities in the electronic health record

• Active RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Valid Iowa state licensure or eligibility
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RT experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
