The CNC Laser Operator sets up and operates CNC laser equipment, inspects parts for quality and accuracy, handles materials, performs routine maintenance, and maintains a safe and organized work area in support of production goals. Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate CNC laser equipment safely and efficiently, including selecting programs and installing cutting heads for each job.
· Stage, load, and unload materials and finished parts to support shift production requirements.
· Perform dimensional inspections to verify part accuracy and quality and maintain accurate records of production and scrap.
· Follow the production schedule, complete assigned work, and enter production data accurately into the ERP system.
· Perform routine preventive maintenance, machine alignment, optic cleaning, and general housekeeping of the equipment and work area.
· Report defective materials or equipment issues promptly and provide backup support in other production areas as needed.

· Develop a strong understanding of production priorities and adapt effectively to changing schedules, materials, and workflow demands.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
· One or more years of manufacturing experience preferred.
· One or more years of laser or plasma operator experience preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
· Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
· Knowledge of fabrication industry metals and related materials.
Working Conditions:
· Work is performed in a manufacturing and production environment where steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and ear protection are required.
· The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
· This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the shift and occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving items weighing more than 50 pounds.
