The Jobsite Superintendent for GMi is a key component of the continuing success of the company as a whole. This integral position is responsible for overseeing all aspects that relate directly to the field and the general success of a project, with the three key components being; SAFETY, QUALITY, & PERFORMANCE. This is a multi-functional position that requires the following skills & knowledge: Strong leadership ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, problem-solving, time management, and the ability to follow through with a plan of action.

The Jobsite Superintendent for GMi is a key component of the continuing success of the company as a whole. What You'll Do
- Lead jobsite safety efforts by conducting daily inspections, enforcing safety standards, and partnering with company leadership to maintain a proactive safety culture.
- Oversee and implement quality control standards to ensure every project meets GMI expectations and client requirements.
- Manage field operations to ensure projects stay on budget, on schedule, and aligned with contract documents and specifications.
- Track production, monitor unit costs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and sequencing.
- Supervise field personnel, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure proper coordination and performance.
- Audit job progress, payroll accuracy, manpower allocation, and material usage to maintain accountability and productivity.
- Train, mentor, and develop field employees while reinforcing company policies and procedures.
- Build strong working relationships with General Contractors and project stakeholders.
- Identify potential issues early and take decisive action to protect safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
- Attend leadership and safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Effective understanding and implementation of construction safety, including OSHA and other regulations, with a strong history of safety excellence.
- Must have or be enrolled in OSHA 30 hour.
- Strong experience in the construction field specifically the drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and exterior cladding trades.
- Effective communication capabilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to follow through on documentation.
- Knowledge of architectural design and planning principles and procedures with technical knowledge of building components and their function.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints and/or technical manuals.
- Knowledge of the operating practices of construction, architectural, and building firms, including the understanding of federal, state, and local building codes, ordinances, and regulations.
- Knowledge of construction contract documents and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction budgeting, specifically able to work with GMis budgeting procedures.
- Strong organizational skills including defining, acquiring, deploying, and managing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to perform site inspections and/or approve installations.
- Skill in the use of computers, specifically with a PC, Windows-based operating, e-mail, Excel, and Word.
