Substation Engineering Associate I - Entry Level

Education and Experience

• Ideal candidate has less than two years of engineering experience.
• 4 year Bachelors degree in engineering preferred.

Competencies

• Must have a solid work ethic and be willing to learn substation physical design.
• An eye for detail and good communication skills are required.
• Candidate must also be able to thrive in a team-based environment and be a self-starter.
• AutoCAD and/or Microstation skills are preferred. Familiarity in using Microsoft Suite applications is also a plus (Excel, Word, etc.).
• FE certification is a plus but not required.
• Occasional overnight travel to customer sites in the southeastern US is required.
