Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) specializing in Positron Emission Tomography (PET) at the Mission Viejo, California, location. This role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on PET imaging, following the facility's protocols and safety standards. Candidates are required to bring their state license on the first day. The assignment is scheduled to start on June 30, 2026, and offers flexible shift options with 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts as preferred by the client, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification through ARRT (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) (N) or NMTCB with California license; 1 year of experience accepted, with 6 months of PET experience preferred; valid California license in hand; BLS certification; minimum 1-year relevant experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record system experience highly preferred; Siemens imaging system experience highly preferred.
- Float: Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Additional Information: Local radius is 50 miles, with locals accepted at a lower billing rate. Candidates must disclose license and background check results upfront; no open license hits will be approved. Candidates must be willing to work at least three of the five major holidays.
