Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Experience in conventional machining and lathing required.

Location: Elyria, OH

Pay Range: $24.70

1st Shift 

What's the Job?

• Operate single or multiple spindle lathe screw machines with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms to machine metal bar stock.
• Load and unload parts, perform basic part inspection using gauges and measurement tools.
• Follow setup instructions to switch between jobs and interpret CMM reports.
• Change broken or worn tools and perform minor preventive maintenance on machines.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting parts and making CNC program offsets as needed.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in conventional machining and lathing required.
• Basic understanding of surface grinders and ability to operate surface grinding equipment.
• Ability to add, subtract, and convert decimals and fractions.
• Outstanding attendance and excellent teamwork skills.
